Operating an effective and thriving ADS Center often requires multiple funding sources. In addition to traditional revenue streams, novel funding opportunities are available and can lead to a healthier bottom line. Join an experienced panel of ADS leaders in reviewing opportunities both familiar and new that exist for the Adult Day Services industry.

Learning objectives for this session include:

  • Know and understand the benefits of ‘traditional’ funding sources and how to access them

  • Learn and understand how to operationalize novel service platforms

  • Learn how to improve utilization of existing client base through enhanced services

  • Become aware of novel funding streams
     

Presenters: Tia Sauceda and Bill Zagorski. 


Tia Sauceda is the Senior Director of Services at Seniors’ Resource Center in Denver, Colorado. Tia has over 20 years of experience in Colorado Adult Day programs. She oversees the day-to-day operations and determined strategic direction and spearhead growth strategies of Adult Day Programs for multi-site adult day programs serving a vulnerable and diverse populations, specializing in dementia care and individuals with disabilities; works with the Board of Directors and Leadership team to develop strategic plans; and created new service lines to serve our clients virtual and remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her previous experience includes serving as the Executive Director at InnovAge Johnson Adult Day Program and Program Director at The Senior Hub Adult Day Service.

Bill Zagorski is the C.E.O. of American Senior Care Center, Inc. overseeing Centennial Adultcare Center’s three Adult Day Health Care locations, non-emergency medical transportation, and home care services, serving more than 150 adults each day throughout middle Tennessee. Bill is a Nashville native, who completed his undergraduate degree at Xavier University, and his graduate degrees in Cancer and Cell Biology, and Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, and Microbiology at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in Cincinnati Ohio. In addition to his role with American Senior Care Centers, Bill is also active on the Legislative Committee of the Council on Aging of Middle Tennessee, the past President of the Senior Services Network of the Mid-South, President of the Tennessee Association of Adult Day Services, the Chair of the Tennessee Coalition for Better Aging, and Chair of the Research Committee and Board Chair of the National Adult Day Services Association.
